A 19-year-old Haskell Indian Nations University student was arrested early Monday morning on a charge of attempted rape, according to Lawrence Police Sgt. Trent McKinley.
Police were call to the Haskell campus around 4 a.m. A female student there reported that the suspect followed her into her room and assaulted her, McKinley said.
Bond has not yet been set in the case.
