Letter: Honesty lauded
To the editor:
I want to thank the kindest and most honest person in Lawrence for turning in my green purse to the Walmart office after I left it in a shopping cart in the parking lot yesterday afternoon. How does one do such a silly thing, you ask? I have no idea, but I did, and didn’t discover my loss until this morning.
Everything was still in the purse: cash, credit cards, receipts, iPhone, camera, work keys. It would have been a major loss if you hadn’t come along. So, my most sincere thanks, whoever you are.
You’ve earned your halo and my undying gratitude.
