City volleyball players earned five of the 16 available spots on this year’s All-Sunflower League first team.

Free State High seniors Katy Davis and Shelby Holmes, their junior teammate Morgan Knapp, as well as Lawrence senior Monica Howard and LHS junior Caitlin Broadwell picked up first-team honors from the league’s coaches.

FSHS senior Molly Ryan, Firebirds junior Grace Miller and LHS senior Zoe Reed all were named to the second team.

Lawrence senior Brealynn May and Free State junior Kailee Dudley received honorable mention.
