Overland Park ? Katie Sarraf scored Free State’s only goal in a 3-1 high school soccer loss Thursday at Blue Valley Southwest.

“We got rattled a little bit, so we didn’t play our game,” FSHS coach Kelly Barah said. “We gave up some goals we usually don’t. But all in all, we’re excited to start the playoffs next week and see how far we can go.”

The Firebirds (10-4-2) likely will host a first-round playoff game Tuesday against a to-be-determined foe.
