Senior Free State High linebacker Calloway Schmidt recently was added to the East roster for the 2012 Kansas Shrine Bowl.

Schmidt will join Lawrence High’s Anthony Buffalomeat on the team, as well as area players Zach Callahan (Mill Valley) and Greg Snell (Eudora).

The Shrine Bowl kicks off at 7:05 p.m. on July 28 at Emporia State University’s Welch Stadium.
