Overland Park ? Free State High junior golfer Alex Green carded a 74 and finished in eighth place on Monday at the Blue Valley West Invitational, held at LionsGate.

The Firebirds, who scored 329 total, did not place in the team standings.

Lawrence High, which was led by senior Logan Henrichs’ 79, finished with a team total of 334.

Both Lawrence and Free State High will compete next at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Free State Invitational at Eagle Bend golf course.
