Washington Former Sen. Bob Dole of Kansas says GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum is "getting close to the point" where he'll have to decide whether to stay in the race for the nomination or drop out.
In a telephone interview Wednesday, Dole told The Associated Press he was speaking from the experience of staying in the 1988 GOP nomination fight too long. Dole said: "As much as you don't want to do it, sometimes you have to face reality."
Dole is a supporter of GOP front-runner Mitt Romney. He says Romney's lead in GOP convention delegates and his handy victory Tuesday in the Illinois primary make overtaking him a longshot for Santorum.
Dole said Santorum's "got a real problem" because Romney will pick up delegates in every race.

I think Dole is right that Romney has the nomination, but I would not drop out either. Romney will have the delegates, but Santorum will have the heart of the convention. Rick will have enough delegates to at least try to stage a coup at the convention if he wants.

I would certainly support the 'We're Getting Out Of The Middle East' political party, if it existed.

Rick is too full of himself to withdraw--at least not just yet. Trust me, he will stick around for awhile. He is having the time of his life.

All the more reason why I would love to see him remain.

What about Gingrich? I figure he is in it because he is collecting more material for his next book. I have long thought he is in it for his next business venture $$ or book. I suppose I don't mind, he has helped make this primary a circus that looks like a bunch of clowns (with the exception of Paul) getting into a VW.
Here is some classic Gingrich:

The people of Pennsylvania booted him out. And he lost most of the "hidden supporters" when he came out against porn. I mean, who is going to say they are FOR porn????
"Bush" league candidate and we all know what that means.

What is all of this talk of Rick Sanctorum dropping out of the race, so soon, from Bob Dole? I realize that we are in Kansas but semi-inquiring minds want to know what Bob Dole is trying to do, from behind those floor length curtain?....Really!!!! If he stays in, Rick will have delegates won from wherever he has run, that he can use as bargaining chips come convention time, where he can "take-one-for-the-team" by settling for the VP spot. He could end up as the VP candidate on the Publican ticket with the "Mitt-The-Flip-Flop-Vulture", as President to be. He would certainly be voter endearing to the "right-wing-nuts", who don't care much for Mitt Romney but who would love to see their "beloved" Rick Sanctorum be one, unfortunately tragic event, away from the Presidency of The U.S.A. (that's a scary thought!!!) (not that imagining Mitt Romney as our "Financial-Vulcher-In-Chief" of this country, isn't a scary enough thought, on it's own!!!) Flip-Flop---Flip-Flop;.....It's worse than water torture,....that is...... if you have a brain ..... to be tortured by......Flip-Flop---Flip-Flop?!
Some....obviously....don't! Or they have a high tolerance for......"whatever"?! O.M.G.......They like it!!!! One of them would pick our pockets & double talk us to sleep,... while the other one would distract us by washing our brains, with his versions of how we all should believe & behave according to his personal vision (get a room !!!!) of what proper-right-wing-nut-morality is. Sounds like a Publican plan too me!!!!
