In the Public Forum of Jan. 16, Paul Gray suggests the Kansas University music building be named the Russell Wiley Music Building. I firmly agree.
I was Wiley’s secretary for several years and watched him direct the musical groups and mentor students as they asked for his help. He was very busy but always made time for them. They liked participating in his bands and orchestra, as well as the personal attention they received.
The Russell. L. Wiley Music Building will make sense to many alums.
