I heard our beloved governor on the radio blathering about how “Kansas is now a pro-life state and we’re gonna keep it that way!” Cut funds for cervical cancer screenings … pro-life? Cut funds for pre-natal care … pro-life? Cut funds for post-natal care so our infant mortality in some counties rivals Third World countries … pro-life? Cut Medicaid funding so many people who are sick just have suck it up … pro-life? Try to cut funding for SRS offices so food stamps become unavailable for our neediest … pro-life? Make sure gay people feel like outcasts … pro-life?

Good job, Brownie. You are making our state an embarrassment. There are consequences for this kind of behavior.
