Presidential historian Richard Norton Smith will kick off the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics’ 2012 Presidential Lecture Series on Jan. 29.
Smith, a former director of the institute, will speak on what separates successful presidents from the those deemed failures, according to an email announcement from the institute.
Bill Lacy, the director of the institute, is scheduled to conduct an interview with Smith at 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at the institute, 2350 Petefish Drive. The institute will announce additional Presidential Lecture Series programs throughout the semester.
