To the editor:
Times are tough for school programs, particularly in the arts. Too often we hear from the business community “we can’t help now” or “maybe next year” or just “sorry.” This is why I felt compelled to write about the Srisutiva family, owners of Thai Siam. For two years in a row now, they have donated the food for Free State High School’s dinner theater on Feb. 17. This is our student written and directed showcase, which raises money for our Thespian scholarship, so it is a very important night for us. We are fortunate at Free State High School to have Ed West there, supporting us at every turn, and for families like the Srisutivas.
