Matt Tait, the Journal-World’s Kansas University football beat writer, was honored among the top 10 in the Beat Writing category of the Associated Press Sports Editors annual contest, it was announced on Wednesday.
The Journal-World sports section also earned a top-10 award in the Sunday Section category and earned honorable mention for Special Section.
The Journal-World competed in the under-30,000 circulation category.
