The public is invited to a discussion about weather.

On Feb. 28, the National Weather Service in Topeka will present Weather 101, which will include information about how thunderstorms develop, features of severe weather and safety tips.

Hazard radios will be sold, and programming will be available at the event, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at South Middle School, 2734 La.
