Kansas City, Kan. — Haley Hanson placed sixth overall with a 539 series as Free State High’s girls bowling team placed fifth at the six-team Kansas City Turner Invitational on Wednesday at Ranch Bowl.
Olathe North won with 2214 pins and was followed by Shawnee Mission Northwest (2155), K.C. Turner (2033), SM North (1914) and Free State (1877).
Other FSHS scores: Bri Martin, 16th, 474; Danielle Stringer, 20th, 452; Emily Reno, 31st, 370; Meredith Baker, 32nd, 352; and Chaise Hegrenes, 36th, 337.
