Lawrence woman cited for leaving the scene of accident Thursday on K-10

Police cited a 50-year-old Lawrence woman for multiple violations, including leaving the scene of an accident and having no proof of insurance, after an accident Thursday on Kansas Highway 10 near Franklin Road. The accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Bambi Lindsay slid into another car in the eastbound lane, according to Sgt. Trent McKinley, of the Lawrence Police Department.

Lindsay, who police said fled the scene, and was located by police at the East Hills Business Park. The occupants of the other vehicle were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Should be leaving the scene of an injury accident.

Guess it really doesn't matter - there won't be any ramifications anyway, thanks to our lousy DA.
