Dodge City The Kansas Highway Patrol says a fatal three-vehicle accident in western Kansas was caused by the winter’s first storm.
The patrol reports that the accident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 50, about 13 miles east of Dodge City.
A vehicle with a trailer was traveling west went across the center of the highway. An eastbound vehicle struck the trailer and a second, westbound vehicle struck debris in the highway.
The patrol said it is still investigating the accident and had no further details. It did not release the identity of the victim.
