Lawrence police arrested a 39-year-old Okemah, Okla., man Wednesday night on suspicion of domestic battery, aggravated assault and child endangerment. Mark Anthony Lee was arrested after police responded to a domestic battery call and found the suspect and the victim of the assault had been engaged in an argument while the victim was holding a young child.

Sgt. Trent McKinley of the Lawrence Police Department said Lee held a knife in a threatening manner during the argument, also grabbing the victim, who fell with the child. No significant injury was reported.

Lee has been arrested, but not yet charged. Bond has not yet been set.
