To the editor:
I liked the article by Chief Justice Nuss on the justice selection system (Journal-World, 12-16), but his information on Gen. Patton is not correct in saying that “his troops stormed Normandy beaches.” The troops liked the speech referred to, but the Third Army did not get to Normandy until later. Instead, Patton’s Army in England played a different role in making the Germans believe the invasion would come elsewhere.
