To the editor:
Following his removal from the House Budget Committee, U.S. Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kan., said “This is clearly a vindictive move and a sure sign that the GOP establishment cannot handle disagreement.” The same statement could be applied to the conservative branch of the Kansas Republican Party and their vendetta against moderate Republicans during our most recent election. What goes around, comes around.

With their butts soundly whupped in the last election, the Republican politicians are reduced to eating their own. Its hard to imagine a meaner scoundrel than today's prototypical Republican politician.

Sounded whipped? I must have missed that election. In my world the Senate is still controlled by the democrats without gains and the House is still controlled ny the GOP without significant change. And there are now 30 GOP governors. Not seeing the soundly whipped but if you say so.

Another sore losing repug? The presidency is the PRIZE, no? Even Ann Coulter said just two days ago, "We Lost the election."
Elections do have consequences. Get over it.

Now that he doesn't have to worry about a reelection you'll find out what consequences really are and you probably won't like them after you elected him!

Actually, I am glad about that fact. Hopefully, Obama will quit trying to play tiddlywinks with the right wing obstructionists and stick to his guns.

<p>@thesycho....me a repub, nope, not me and not a sore loser. Just pointing out the error of your statement. Yes, the GOP lost the presidential election and that is a big prize, but it isn't the only prize. Considering that financial issues rest with the House, it too is a big prize. And no duh, elections have consequences - really? Please try to do better next time.

He's such a right-wing ideolog that even Boehner found him to be intransigent and rigid in his voting. There is no compromise with this close-minded rookie. Tim may have a Phd. from a fancy school, but he's not very savvy. He's also proof of the old saying "One day cock of the walk, next day feather duster."

Now, for the last two days he's going around badmouthing Boehner and the House leadership. Wow. Just wow. "If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging." -Will Rogers
