Theatre Lawrence is holding auditions for its summer shows April 22 and 23.
In June, Theatre Lawrence will hold a production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor ,” a musical take on the Biblical tale, combining pop, rock, country-western and calypso. In July, it will debut “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley,” based on the children’s book in which a little boy is flattened by an errant bulletin board. He travels the world as an oversized piece of mail, hoping to one day become a three-dimensional boy again.
On April 22, youths aged 10 to 15 are invited to audition for the “Joseph” youth chorus at 6 p.m. Adults and children 16 and older can audition for “Joseph” at 7 p.m., and youths and adults interested in “Stanley” can audition at 8 p.m. On April 23, “Stanley” auditions continue from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and adults are invited to audition for “Joseph” from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
