Prairie Village ? Lawrence High scored six runs in the sixth inning to take the lead and win, 9-4, at Shawnee Mission East on Friday.

SM East took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning against Lawrence pitcher Garrett Cleavinger, but after Lawrence’s six-run sixth inning, Cleavinger still got the win to move to 3-1 on the season.

Shane Willoughby hit 3-for-4 at the plate and scored two runs. CJ Stuever batted 2-for-4, as did Matt Sutliffe. Sutliffe also batted in two runs, and Troy Willoughby scored two runs. Jake Vinoverski went 2-for-3 batting.

Lawrence (6-3) hosts Shawnee Mission West on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
