Man flown to Kansas City hospital after fall at south Lawrence mobile home park
A man who was injured when he fell about 10 feet at Easy Living Mobile Home Park, 3323 Iowa, was flown to a Kansas City hospital Friday afternoon.
Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical Division Chief Lyle Schwartz said it was not immediately clear if the man fell off a ladder or from a roof of a mobile home.
Crews at 1:50 p.m. called for a LifeStar ambulance to transport the man initially said to have suffered serious injuries.
Officers set up a landing zone on the west side of Iowa Street, and about 2:15 p.m. he was flown to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.
