To the editor:
Tears in a bucket! No Sunday paper! In checking the online version, the late delivery and inconvenience was noted. But no complaint. At an early hour Sunday in my yard, clutches of revelers were cheering Kansas University’s basketball win over Ohio State by two points! With grass unmowed, celebrants in the yard, it’s possible somebody picked up my paper. Can’t blame ‘em for that.
I’m proud of the team playing all the way to the Final Four and was excitedly hoping for Monday’s game. Tomorrow, a paper on my porch as always by the usual carrier. The Journal-World is a good deal, the content good, a helpful staff, better news than television’s fitful offerings. So dry your tears, folks. Appreciate your paper and items you may clip and save for others and yourself. Online news just doesn’t cut it.
