Overland Park Jake Walter, Caleb Francis and Hunter Peirce scored goals, and Free State High’s boys soccer team blanked Shawnee Mission North, 3-0, on Wednesday night.
“I think we played well, especially bouncing back from the game (Tuesday) night,” FSHS coach Kelly Barah said of a 4-0 loss at SM East. “We were definitely clicking on all cylinders tonight on offense.”
Luke Lesslie was credited with the shutout for FSHS, which improved to 4-2.
The Firebirds will play host to Topeka High on Saturday.

Good to see FS winning on the road.

Not only are they winning on the road, they have possessed the ball better than their opponent in every game except SME.

Won't be able to see any games this fall, so that's great to hear. I thought this would be a down year for the boys at FS, but with that observation, SoccerGenius, it could turn out good. Keep writing your observations; much appreciated.
