Free State split a volleyball triangular on Tuesday at FSHS.

The Firebirds beat Emporia, 25-14, 25-14, but lost to Topeka Seaman, 25-22, 25-18.

Emporia also beat Seaman, 25-13, 25-13.

Free State (6-5) will travel to a triangular Thursday at Shawnee Mission Northwest.

Actually, Seaman beat Emporia 25-13, 25-13.

By the way, LJ World - is this the best coverage we can expect for local high school matches this year?

It would be nice if the Sports Editor would at least send one of his reporters to the volleyball HOME MATCHES. And if you did send someone last night, is that all you got out of the assignment?
