Fall open house planned Sept. 10 at Monarch Watch on KU’s West Campus

Kansas University’s Monarch Watch program will host its fall open house on Saturday.

The event, which is free to attend, will feature butterflies, face painting, temporary Jayhawk tattoos and chrysalises for each child, said Chip Taylor, Monarch Watch director.

It is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Foley Hall, 2021 Constant Ave., on KU’s West Campus.

Other insects, videos and games will also be available for children.
