A 61-year-old Shawnee man was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center after a single vehicle accident Thursday evening in Lenexa. Around 5:35 p.m., Richard Davison was driving northbound on Interstate 35, when he attempted to avoid hitting traffic and ended up hitting a barrier wall. His 1998 Dodge Dakota flipped once and came to rest, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol. Davison’s condition was not available Thursday night.
