The Breakfast Optimist Club is holding its annual pancake feed and silent auction from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 5. at the American Legion hall, 3408 W. Sixth St.

Proceeds will help support 25 youth programs, including the Boys and Girls Club, American Legion Baseball and dictionaries for all fourth-grade students in Lawrence and Eudora.

Donations of $6 per adult and $3 per child between age 6 and 12 will be collected at the event. Children 5 and younger are free. Fresh coffee from Dunn Bros. will be served at the event.
