Parents with piles of outgrown children’s clothes can trade them in for some new duds.
The fifth Eco-Parents Children’s Clothing Swap will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt. Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m.
Anyone bringing items to swap will trade the items for an equal number of tickets to be used for shopping at the event. Items can also be purchased for $1-$2.
Only children’s clothing and shoes, and maternity wear will be accepted for the swap. Items must be clean and in good condition.
The Eco-Parents, part of the Lawrence Sustainability Network, will seek a $1 donation from swap participants. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or check out the group’s page on Facebook.com.
