Lawrence police said Monday that the stab wound a 21-year-old Lawrence woman suffered Friday evening was self inflicted.

Sgt. Matt Sarna, a police spokesman, said officers were called about 7 p.m. to the 1500 block of Eddingham Drive, east of 23rd Street and Ousdahl Drive, and found the woman. She was taken by air ambulance to a Kansas City-area hospital.

Sarna said Monday the incident was still under investigation. No additional details about the woman’s condition were available Monday.
