Kansas freshman guard Diara Moore will transfer from the KU women's basketball team, coach Bonnie Henrickson announced Wednesday.

"The coaching staff and I wish Diara all the best in her future endeavors," Henrickson said.

The Cedar Hill, Texas, native played in 33 of KU's 34 games last season, starting 14 times. She averaged 3.8 points and scored in double figures three times.

The 5-foot-9 Moore originally chose KU out of high school over TCU, Memphis, Tulsa and Wichita State.
