Fond memory

What a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Wakarusa Valley Elementary School’s 50th anniversary reception on May 1 was well attended. Fun to see everyone again.
Both of my daughters attended “Waukie.” My oldest was in the first class, and both have fond memories of their years there.
It’s sad to see this great school close. Seems to me a very questionable decision.
