Koch Industries donates $50,000 to Wichita’s Exploration Place

May 5, 2011

— Koch Industries has donated $50,000 for work at the "Kansas In Miniature" exhibit at Exploration Place in Wichita.

The exhibit features an animated landscape with dollhouse-size scenes of Kansas in the 1950s, but after 10 years the display has fallen into disrepair.

The Wichita Eagle reports that the donation from Koch Industries will go toward cleaning, repairing and refurbishing the exhibit.

Koch was one of the first investors in Exploration Place when it was built.

What do they want in return? A display promoting the agenda of the Teabaggers or Americans for Prosperity?

Billionaires donating $50,000.00. Akin to my "throwing the bums a dime."

When was the last time you gave a bum anything?
