The Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging will host its annual fundraiser, which benefits seniors in its Guardian Angel Fund.
The Guardian Angel Fund provides seniors with items like grab bars and magnifying mirrors to simplify their lives at home.
The “There’s No Place Like Home” fundraiser is from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. May 18 at Topeka’s Great Overland Station, 701. N. Kansas Ave.
The night will feature a swing band, dancing, catering and a sealed big auction of an autographed Kansas University men’s basketball.
Tickets are $15 and can be picked up at the Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging, 2910 SW Topeka Boulevard, or be mailed by calling 785-235-1367.
