Emporia ? Free State placed third and Lawrence High sixth at the Emporia Swimming and Diving Invitational on Thursday.

FSHS had 345 points. LHS finished with 223.

Free State’s Kara Mishler and Reilly Moore qualified for state. Mishler had a 100 fly time of 1:02.92, and Moore finished the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.58.

Lawrence High’s 200 medley relay team of Rachel Buchner, Mallory Neet, Miranda Rohn and Annie Odrowski qualified for state with a time of 2:02.97.
