July 29, 2011

The city will repair a water main leak on 23rd Street early Monday.

In fact, the repairs on the leak at 814 W. 23rd St. will start at midnight Sunday and will be done by 6 a.m. Monday, said Jeanette Klamm, the city’s utilities programs manager.

Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane during the work, and water supplied to several restaurants, including McDonald’s, will be shut off.

All businesses that will be affected by the shutoff have been notified.
