Political agenda
To the editor:
This writer notes with amazement and dismay the opposition of U.S. senators from Kansas, Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran, to the proposed appointment of Steve Six to the federal bench. Six is a capable, honest, experienced, and able jurist and person. Opposition to his appointment is indefensible other than on purely political grounds. One’s integrity is a high price to pay in exchange for keeping in step with the agenda of one’s political party.
