Eudora police arrested a 46-year-old Eudora man on a charge of aggravated assault after an altercation in the 1000 block of Cherry Street shortly after 9:30 Friday morning, Eudora Police Sgt. Tom Willis said. A weapon was involved in the incident, but Willis said he would not specify what sort of weapon was used. The man was arrested at his home later in the day and was booked into Douglas County Jail after the 55-year-old victim went to the police station to report the crime, Willis said.
