In her new position, she will be responsible for managing Lawrence Habitat for Humanity’s annual budget, staff and volunteers, among other duties.

An open house is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Habitat ReStore, 708 Conn., to give the community an opportunity to meet Howell.
