Ousting Missouri
To the editor:
Re-naming as “Coach Fambrough Street” any street other than the stretch of the current Missouri Street where it passes Memorial Stadium would be an insult to the late coach’s name. It’s not so much about getting in the good as it is getting rid of the bad.
If the residents of the street don’t think that the honor of living on the new street is worth the trouble of changing their addresses, let them keep their old ones so nobody will ever find them.
If, as is more likely, the city commissioners don’t want a tiny administrative detail to bother with, let them look elsewhere for my vote next election.
