Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline to clear brush in Naismith Valley Park
A natural gas pipeline company will begin clearing brush and trees this week along the Naismith Valley Park and trail system.
Residents in the affected area, which is between 24th and 29th streets on the eastern edge of the park, will be notified of the work by Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline. The trail itself will remain open during the project, with signs alerting users of any closures. The work will allow crews to perform maintenance and repairs on the pipeline.
The project is expected to be completed in two weeks.
