Annual wine stomp planned at area winery to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters

Money raised from stepping on grapes will benefit a local agency.

The Blue Jacket Crossing Winery will host its second grape stomp on Saturday, Aug. 27, to help raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County. Information will be available regarding the winemaking process and wine tastings will be offered.

The event is planned from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the winery, 1969 N. 1250 Road in Eudora. The winery suggests a donation of $5 per person. For more information, visit bluejacketwinery.com.
