A Bonner Springs man who was injured April 3 in a motorcycle accident northeast of Lawrence has died.

Leavenworth County Undersheriff Ron Cranor said Monday his department is awaiting a coroner’s report regarding the death of Bret A. Clark, 48, Bonner Springs. He died April 11 at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., according to a recent notification from the coroner to the sheriff’s office.

Clark was injured in a motorcycle accident about 4 p.m. April 3 at U.S. Highway 24-40 and 243rd Street near Reno. Sheriff’s officers, using information on Clark’s driver’s license, initially said he was from Tonganoxie.

A passenger, Lorie A. Reavis, 44, Tonganoxie, was taken to KU Hospital for treatment of injuries and later dismissed.

Cranor said a coroner’s report can take about a month to complete.
