Lawrence man cited for driving too fast for conditions after rollover accident at 23rd Street and Kasold
A 21-year-old Lawrence man was cited for driving too fast for conditions after an accident at 10 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Kasold Drive and Clinton Parkway.
Sgt. Matt Sarna, a Lawrence police spokesman, said the man lost control of the 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck at 10:20 a.m. as he was headed south on Kasold Drive. The truck spun and hit the north inside curb on Clinton Parkway, which caused the vehicle to flip over. The driver had a small cut on his hand but did not require medical attention, Sarna said.
There were no passengers and no other vehicles were involved.
