Free State soccer rolls past SM South, 3-0

Behind two goals by Maddie Dieker, Free State High’s girls soccer team shut out Shawnee Mission South, 3-0, on Thursday at FSHS.

Alexa Harmon-Thomas scored the Firebirds’ other goal and added an assist. Erin Ice also tallied an assist.

Elena Auer earned the shutout.

Free State (5-1) will host Shawnee Mission Northwest on Tuesday.

I hadn't heard that ONW wanted to play it early. Who takes care of that...the Athletic Director? Free State got their game flipped....someone is doing a good job.

LHS game was rained out. Olathe Northwest wanted to play the varsity game early, but that wasn't arranged. Some talk of playing it on Saturday, but that's not going to happen.
