Olathe ? The Lawrence High softball team was swept by Olathe South in a doubleheader on Tuesday in Olathe.

In the first game, Lawrence High lost, 8-2. Marly Carmona went 3-for-4, and Kasey Waite went 2-for-4 with a double. Both Lauren Massey and Emily Peterson went 2-for-3.

In the second game, Lawrence fell, 7-1.

Lauren Massey went 2-for-3.

The Lions take on Shawnee Mission South on Thursday.
