The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a flash flood watch effective until midnight Thursday.

Thunderstorms moving through Douglas County will have the potential of producing up to two inches of rain per hour. The ground is already saturated from rainfall over the past week, creating the possibility for flash flooding.
