An accident on the Kansas Turnpike between Topeka and Lawrence had two eastbound lanes closed Wednesday evening.

According to an alert from the Kansas Turnpike Authority, the lanes reopened about 7:30 p.m. near milemarker 193.6, about three miles west of the Lecompton interchange with the Kansas Highway 10 bypass.

The accident was reported about 5:20 p.m.
