Dole Institute of Politics schedules two study groups

The Dole Institute of Politics will host two weekly study groups beginning Tuesday featuring its three fall 2010 Dole Fellows.

Joseph C. Phillips, an actor and syndicated columnist, and Kevin Jackson, a business consultant and author, will jointly lead “Black Conservatism in America.”

The group will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 14-Nov. 2, but will not meet on Oct. 12.

Peter Fenn, president of the political and public affairs media firm Fenn Communications Group, will lead “The 2010 Elections: What They Mean for Solving Problems,” examining the 2010 elections and their outcomes.

That group will meet at 4 p.m. on Mondays beginning Oct. 25.

Both of the not-for-credit study groups are free and open to the public, and will meet at the Dole Institute.
