A 65-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was injured in an accident Tuesday afternoon on the Kansas Turnpike.

According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority, the man was driving westbound at mile marker 194.5 about 3 p.m. He tried to change lanes but didn’t see a car in his blind spot. He swerved to avoid the car and struck a barrier wall.
